The CPN Pangolin Club is part of the vision of the Federation of Clubs to Know and Protect Nature. The CPN (Know and Protect Nature) clubs were born from the imagination of Pierre Déom, a schoolteacher in the Ardennes. He wrote and illustrated a newspaper for children called La Hulotte. CPN clubs have since developed throughout France and other countries, particularly in the French-speaking countries of West, Central, and North Africa. Its credo is: to promote the culture of nature among all curious people, in other words, to learn about nature through nature in nature to better protect it, of course! In March 2021, the CPN Pangolin Club was created in Benin and aims to be a nature protection club.
